Overview
Platform Analytics provides simple access to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics for proactive business service improvement. In this two-day interactive technical training, attendees master the setup, configuration, and usage of the Platform Analytics application.
Audience Profile
This course is designed for Platform Analytics Administrators and Power Users who administer and create content for the Platform Analytics application. Service owners designing KPIs and Dashboard requirements for deeper service insight will also benefit from this course.
Prerequisites
A basic level of familiarity with the ServiceNow application is required. New ServiceNow users should complete the Welcome to ServiceNow – a self-paced introduction to the ServiceNow platform, interface, and navigation.
Attendees should have completed the ServiceNow Administration Fundamentals course and have some experience with ServiceNow; advanced experience is not necessary.
A high-level overview of the Platform Analytics architecture, components, data flow, stakeholders, and deployment process is required to get the most out of the Platform Analytics Fundamentals class. New Platform Analytics users should complete Platform Analytics Overview – a self-paced, on-demand eLearning before taking Platform Analytics Fundamentals.
