Overview
PMI-ACP® qualification is defined by the Project Management Institute (PMI)®. This three-day intensive course provides participants with comprehensive and immersive exposure to Agile Project Management processes, skills, tools and techniques to prepare for the PMI-ACP® examination as outlined in the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) by the Project Management Institute, USA.
The workshop session effectively teaches Agile Project Management methodology concepts through diverse examples and case studies cutting across industries. The session is also a focused preparatory course for the PMI-ACP® certification examination. This training prepares and equips participants with the knowledge, comprehension and strategy to pass the PMI-ACP® exam!
Audience Profile
Agile Practitioners, Project Practitioners, Executives, Engineers, Team Members, Team Leaders, Functional Managers, and Project Managers that are participate or manage small to big Agile projects.
Prerequisites
Before applying, ensure you meet the following requirements:
Secondary degree
21 contact hours of agile practices training
12 months of general project experience within the last 5 years (a current PMP® or PgMP® satisfies this requirement but is not mandatory)
8 months of agile project experience within the last 3 years
At Course Completion
Prepare trainees for obtaining the PMI – ACP certification. Additionally, the course should also help you to:

Understand the agile approach, during the requirement, analysis, design, development, tests, and deployment phases

Module 1: Introduction

Module 2: Domain I: Agile Principles and Mindset
Explore, embrace, and apply agile principles and mindset within the context of the project team and organization.
Module 3: Domain II: Value Driven Delivery
Deliver valuable results by producing high-value increments for review, early and often, based on stakeholder priorities. Have the stakeholders provide feedback on these increments, and use this feedback to prioritize and improve future increments.
Module 4: Domain III: Stakeholder Engagement
Engage current and future interested parties by building a trusting environment that aligns their needs and expectations and balances their requests with an understanding of the cost/effort involved. Promote participation and collaboration throughout the project life cycle and provide the tools for effective and informed decision making.
Module 5: Domain IV: Team Performance
Create an environment of trust, learning, collaboration, and conflict resolution that promotes team self-organization, enhances relationships among team members, and cultivates a culture of high performance.
Module 6: Domain V: Adaptive Planning
Produce and maintain an evolving plan, from initiation to closure, based on goals, values, risks, constraints, stakeholder feedback, and review findings.
Module 7: Domain VI: Problem Detection & Resolution
Continuously identify problems, impediments, and risks; prioritize and resolve in a timely manner; monitor and communicate the problem resolution status; and implement process improvements to prevent them from occurring again.

Continuously improve the quality, effectiveness, and value of the product, the process, and the team
