Audience Profile
The CGEIT certification is intended for:
Professionals with 5 or more years of experience establishing and managing a framework for the governance of I&T as well as serving in an advisory or oversight role, and/or otherwise supporting the governance of the IT-related contributions, including:
SVP, VP, Director
IT professionals supporting upper management: Consultants, Senior Managers, Managers, Senior Engineers
Governance, ultimately, is the responsibility of upper management and the board. Therefore a high-level understanding of I&T governance is essential at this level so they can empower governance practitioners and sponsor the right initiatives.
Prerequisites
The CGEIT examination is open to anyone who has an interest in the governance of enterprise IT. When you take the CGEIT exam, we’ll send you your results, and if you passed, the details you need to apply for your CGEIT certification. Candidates have five years from the passing date to apply for CGEIT certification.
